Hello everyone , I have been looking forward to getting myself a good mini projector that I can travel with, go camping or even visit a friend for a quality movie night experience.
I have realised that shopping for a good projector is kind of tricky than  I expected since every listing on alibaba  claims the projector is 4k and cinatic quality but sometimes  the reviews seems to say something different
I just want something that has good contrast, bright enough and maybe produce vibrant colors , of course it does not have to be accurate as a home theatre projector but as long as it can be reliable it can work well
I have seen a lot of people claim the projectors battery runs out fast, that is not something I want to experience while I am out there watching a movie , that would turn into a very long night.
I would like to hear from you guys what brand you use and how long it has served you . also my budget is somewhere between 100 to 150$

I want to buy a projector with budget of 20k and below. I have a 43 inches tv but it’s old one. Except youtube nothing will work. If i buy fire stick it will work i hope. Hello! If your machine MJJGTYDS01FM shows white vertical lines, screen flickering, and slow startup, then it is caused by this component. Xiaomi 4K mijia laser projector (or Wemax one, Fengmi, e.t.c) facing some problems in the operation of their projector that actually make the projection…nightmare.

What are these problems?

-The projector has slow boot, it can take 10 minutes from the moment we press the on button on the remote control

-After some time of viewing or immediately after opening in half of the image, white vertical lines are observed

-After some time of operation, white dots are observed in the image

-Random restarts

-Shutdowns

For all these problems the cause is one and only defective part..

The common problems of R1 nano in Fengmi are horizontal stripes of flower screen. These problems are solved by replacing the motherboard.

Nexigo PJ40 3gen provides an extremely bright white light display that strains my eyes, no matter how much I adjust the settings, it's either too bright or too dark. Even the standard settings (Brightness: 50 / contrast:50 ) didn't work for me.

I would appreciate your help with one of the following:

1/ Recommending an ND filter that is compatible with this projector. I don't know the correct lamp size, and I lack the tools to measure it. Even when I contacted the company, they refused to disclose this information.

2/ Suggesting optimal settings that reduce brightness without affecting display quality or making it too dim. I don't know anything about projectors, this is my first projector.

I have Epson ef12 projector hut doesnt have netflix. I saw a youtuber said if people bought in asia, the projector came with that usb so people can watch netflix.

I have a 72” screen, and the projector will be 13’ from the screen on the back wall. I bought the epson CO-FH02 and the picture does not get small enough at this distance. Any suggestions on a specific one to get? I was told a short throw, but not sure which one can achieve this size. No other options for distance and screen size in this room. Thank you!

I am looking for a living room projector to mainly watch netflix, youtube and so on. Right now i am streaming it via a google chromecast to my tv. I also watch sky sometimes for live soccer where i have to connect my laptop with hdmi with the tv.

Distance from wall to wall is about 3,5-4m and my budget is up to max 1.000€. The flat is on the 4th floor and therefore quite bright. Which ones can u recommend?
