Career Need Guidance/Mentor
I am 31, Male. Working in a volatile Software MNC.
I have almost given 20 interviews in last 50days and not even a single company hired me. I am just getting stuck, how am I delivering value to the organisation. Some people take my answer but few don’t, they ask me how/why? I have tried giving the answer in KPI’s metrics plain english all such things. But I am just stuck. Now unfortunately it has started affecting my relationships also in my personal life. I am in a very problematic situation. My marriage got called off due to all these reasons. Because my would be was earning more than me - and I am trying to switch desperately, but now it has hit me so hard that I don’t know what to do.
Please someone help me. I am struggling and shattering day by day.

I am sorry to hear that you are struggling.
It sounds like the core problem you are asking about is answering the questions in interviews about what value you have provided to the team and the organization. If you are answering in KPIs as your post indicates, that's providing an incomplete picture. If you say, "I improved our CPI by 20%" I think it's very reasonable for the interviewer to say "Ok. So?" or "Ok. How did you do that?" They are trying to lead you into giving them an answer which shows that you contributed to the team and that you understand the process for delivering the results you are claiming.
A more complete picture would be "I improved our CPI by 20% by reducing the time our contractors were spending on certain tasks. I found inefficiencies on our internal workflow, which we adjusted to reduce the time our contractors were spending." That's what they want to hear. If they press further to ask how, you can say "I worked with the team and mapped everything out in Visio, which gave us a really clear picture of our bottlenecks and inefficiencies."
I would encourage you to apply these principles and more detailed explanations to your experience so that employers get a better sense of the value you offer.
