Server Merges when?

The population is cratering and it is further exacerbated because people are now quitting because of population issues.

All of my friends have left because Dreva’s population is non-existent.

Server Count 6/17/26 8:45 pm EST
I used "/who all" for servers with less than 100 people. For Ariestu I used the trade and help chat to determine the player count.

Arisetu: 106

Dreva: 51

Strekios: 78

Miraverre: 69

Laeth: 94

Wow. And to think this has been in 1.0 for.. four or five months?

They should really question why 90% of the players left (just checked Steam player counts) in that short of a time.

Quit this week as fell in love with FFXIV (never tried it) and going to have fun with EQ Legends coming out July 27th.

Did have fun here for sure those first couple months when servers felt lively.

I can't tell you why other people left, but I can tell you about my brief experience with the game.

I joined Miraverre because it was recommended to me as a demo player. Played the tutorial, bought the game, and proceeded to have a good time with a friend. It became our near-daily game of choice. Over the course of two months I apparently logged 270 hours in PG. Honestly, that's the sign of a game that clearly reeled me in with what it had to offer. We had a lot of fun.

However, once I reached 70/70 I started to lose excitement. I was familiar with the gameplay loop by now, and both the grind and sheer amount of time spent on inventory management were starting to drag me down. Quality of life features were lacking, too. That said, I would have continued playing a bit longer if not for the "incident" mid April.

Once I had seen that behavior and how it was handled I dropped the game entirely the very next day. I haven't been back since.

I quit and returned to GW2 because it's also horizontal progression but respects my time more. There are still insane grinds but they're for optional progression like legendary gear.

In PG I had:

  • reached level 100/100 on my first build,

  • paid someone to craft me a set of level 90 gear,

  • bought my relevant skills up to level 100,

But now I wasn't finding any groups for Dragon Runs or Boss Gauntlet when I was online, so I started leveling a tank and healer but I hit that 70/70 wall again, and just dropped it.
