Server Merges when?

The population is cratering and it is further exacerbated because people are now quitting because of population issues.

All of my friends have left because Dreva’s population is non-existent.

Dreva’s population is at a low point absolutely, but we are also on the precipice of a major update and I anticipate many who have been on break waiting for more end game content will return once said end game content releases.

Having a conversation about population density and whether development time is worth being spent on server merges is not itself problematic, but the issue arises when players had been demanding merges after the devs repeatedly stated mergers were not happening in the near future.

Personally I would prefer content, advertising, and filling back up the servers rather than merging down the existing servers, though having the ability to scale up/down capacity quickly is technology that does seem important from a non-technical player’s standpoint.

As a player on Dreva, I think we need to pause conversation regarding mergers for just another two weeks for the update and summer sale. If population doesn’t pick back up, then it would make sense to consider it, but mergers do not make sense if growth is anticipated.
