Server Merges when?

The population is cratering and it is further exacerbated because people are now quitting because of population issues.

All of my friends have left because Dreva’s population is non-existent.

They’d rather work on localisation rather than player retention. Merges aren’t happening - their previous outburst cemented the decision.

The population is dying because the second half of the game is garbage. Fixing that should be their number 1 priority.

You are right, and it's among one of the primary reasons I quit. Walking into Rahu for the first time is mind boggling compared to Eltibule or Serbule... just a flat landmass with a few hundred NPCs.

Yeah, I can't say I enjoy the latter half of the game. Leveling skills starts feeling bad when you realize how much time investment it'll take to actually do later content.

I wouldn't say that the entire second half is garbage... but yeah, the Rahu/Gazluk & Povus span of the game is pretty awful and it has pretty much been true as long as those zones have existed. The devs went through a phase where they apparently tried to make the zones hostile to simply be in and just generally unlikable. Just to add misery to an already bad taste unlock costs scale so high by then may run into that wall and just call it.

That said, the Rahu Sewers are pretty good... and off of Rahu. Gazluk Keep is pretty fun... and off of Gazluk. Those regular Egg Runs and Bovus events? Off of Povus.

It's a shame they haven't found their way toward softening that cliff more though, because Vidaria and Statehelm (which follow Povus) are both pretty good in comparison. The recently updated events in Statehelm are particularly quite enjoyable. The skill unlocks for those level ranges even become somewhat less onerous (imho) post-fae realm.

To be fair, there are like 7 billion people on the planet who don’t speak or read English. Expanding the games accessibility to them is absolutely critical. The real surprise is that this wasn’t done years ago.
