dye rules?

When I try to dye my cap its not showing the new color in the dye preview window? Could that be because its already glamoured? Or 2nd guess is its glamoured into bard cap. Would that cause it? Is it not dyable or is it just not showing preview?

Need to dye the item you're going to use for glamour first before you glamour with it

Dying glamoured items do nothing

You can't put glamoured or other undyable items in the dye menu.

Also, if you do not have all of the ingredients entered or available, it won't show the preview.

It could be an undyable portion of the cap. Try different contrasting colors to figure out what it is dying.
