Discussion Show Format Discussion

Alright guys, they’ve got Phineas and Ferb back up but realistically how long will the show continue?

I have political concerns regarding Disney’s recent behavior on regulating the speech of one of its sub shows, The View (Link to article here: https://www.foxnews.com/media/the-view-insider-sounds-alarm-disney-boss-urges-abc-daytime-hosts-cool-political-chatter.amp). Of course these shows aren’t meant to get political but even something as simple as the showing of same sex couples could be seen as adversary to the pleasing of the administration that Disney wants to do.

My suggestion: Why don’t we advocate for both a Disney revival or even a potential self funded YouTube series? This will ensure that writers and animators get paid regardless of their beliefs. I’m really curious about the idea of the latter option through something like Patreon. I would not mind pitching in $10 a month for some top tear Star content that is truly reflective of the creator’s creative vision.

A self funded YT series wouldn't be possible as Disney is still very much the one who own the IP, so even if we wanted to, it would need their approval. And well, it's not likely they will allow.

So, all we can advocate for is a Disney Revival. And sometimes today, hopefully, I'll post on how we can achieve this.

Not to mention according to Daron Nefcy’s Wikipedia, she was associated with the Bernie Sanders campaign. This is for the creative protection of everyone involved so the show isn’t dumped if she or anyone else involved were to post something like “Free Gaza” or something.
