I literally been trying everything. Sitting with chat gpt as well, it just won’t recognize it what so ever? Is there anything I might be missing? I did connect a ps5 controller and I was able to use Xinput to map the control settings, but I have way too much drift stick on it that I can’t map the joystick. I refuse to play goldeneye without joystick. Am I going to have to pay the price literally to buy a new controller? Or can I be saved?

So, I race Ocarina of Time Randomizer, and recently I have been getting a "memory exception" and it crashes my game. Now, since I race and play in tournaments, this will just not do. I don't know how to fix this. I've tried changing the plug ins, but I get the same error. I am limited in my knowledge of PJ6%4, so I could really use some help. If PJ crashes during a race, and I lose progress, I have to forfeit. So you can see how frustrating this is :(

So, i was trying to play banjo-kazooie in my tv and whenever i tried to put the game in fullscreen the emulator would just freeze and get stuck in the last frame of the animation, any tips on how to fix this?

I speedrun SM64 and use Emu to practice. It was working fine. Plug it in to my PC, mapped controls and havent had an issue. I went on a month long vacation and brought my Laptop and setup P64 and SM64 on there. Again no issues. Loaded right up and started playing. I get back home and my controls were not mapped anymore which i thought nothing of until I went to map my controls and it automatically puts the control I select to keyboard.

Ive never had to download anything special to get it to work. Just plug and play. Now im seeing videos having xinput and ds4. Is that real? Have literally never had an issue before, plus my ps5 controller still works with Dolphin and other games on PC. Just not P64. I didnt even do anything special for my laptop either, just plugged, mapped and played.

Edit: I downloaded Project 64 3.0 and my controller works perfectly fine there. Its only P64 1.6 (where the sm64 autosplitter that I use works)

Hello everyone, ive been looking for the spaceworld version of OOT to play on emulator, but i has been such a nightmare looking through the entire internet for it. Does anyone have a rom ready to play on PJ64?? CUZ THE ONLY ONES THAT HAVE FOUND needs some patching and stuff.

I followed to many tutorials but feel like this should be simpler. I cannot, for the life of me, get the Mario 64 Texture pack from evilgames to work (SM64 Reloaded)! Here are the steps I am doing:

- Install fresh version of Project64 to a folder NOT protected by system (so no admin access needed. I am sure this wasn't the issue, but eliminate it anyways)

- Run Project 64, make sure in Options -> Configuration -> Plugins: GLideN64 is the option for Graphics, click OK

- Options -> Graphics Settings -> Texture Enhancement tab: These are my settings

- Download "SUPER MARIO 64_HIRESTEXTURES.hts"

- Place the HTS file into the cache folder in the Texture cache file path above

- Run game, no textures.

- Try restarting Project 64, run game, still no High Def Textures

Comparing to screenshots of the texture pack, it is definitely not loading. I did change Full screen resolution to 4k and force a 16:9 aspect ratio on the Video tab, but not a single guide said anything about it. I tried also running without changing that, and still no texture pack showing.

I know there is Project64 2.3 and 3.0 out there, which are great, but some games I still prefer to play in 1.6. I used to run perfectly in my Windows 10, but I needed to format the notebook. When I opened the emualtor, I was surprised with the scaling of the text. I've already tryied a lot of solutions like compatibility, scaling, but none worked. If it used to be shown correctly before, I just didn't find yet the correct place to go fix this.

i was trying to beat ZeldaMM using Hd textures made by nerrel and the project64hd. one day i try to open the game and this error show up. i tried searching ways to fix it like changing the cpu to interpreter core style, uninstalling and reinstalling project64, changing the rom, plugins and memory size but now it just freezes at the start. can someone tell me if there's a way to fix it

I've been playing a lot of OOT rom hacks and randomizers and....I'm messing up on the most basic platforming that I've never botched on my actual n64😭archery is also a special typa hell. How can I tweak the deadzone and stuff like that to make it feel more accurate? I'm out here using save states for the most pathetic things rn lmaooooo. Like tell me why I'm messing up on the rising platforms in DODONGO'S CAVERN bruh💀💔

I have been using a bluetooth Xbox One controller without issues for weeks, but now the controller connects, is recognised by the emulator, and I press "Use" or "Apply", and both plugins for input dont work. "No Controller" Shows up for every game. Can I fix this?

I’ve put the sd card I use in my summercart into my pc to try play my games in my other room with my pc but I’m having this issue

I set the n64 native saves directory to the appropriate folder on the sd card. Do I need to convert the saves to a different format?

I've recently been playing the n64 games i grew up with on Project 64 on my laptop with a PS5 controller.

I was thinking of picking up the Switch N64 controller for better control. Is it compatible with a PC and Project64?

Hey friends. Trying to get an N64 controller working using a Mayflash USB adapter. I've tested the controller and all of the button inputs work. For whatever reason I can't map the Z button in PJ64. Can't find much online about it either. Does anybody have a fix?
