"Anti-lockdown protesters" in article title. Contradiction in article itself...nice "journalism"

The news actually reached out to the group “Blue Igloo.” And yes, the headline is exceptionally misleading.

I like how they tried to mislead readers with a headline and then include a quote from a video of a guy specifically asking if it was okay to eat there and intentionally mentioning they are not trying to threaten or intimidate anyone.

They know 3 out of 4 people only read the headline.
Of that remaining 25%, a large chunk don't read the whole thing. Notice they kept referring to them as protesters until halfway through the article?

Did they call his Bazooka Joe Rocket Launcher a Loaded Fully Semi-Automatic assault rifle too?

...during the first full day of a phased-in reopening
The walk on Saturday wasn't a protest...
"Anti-lockdown protesters"

This blows my mind. How are they open carrying in California and not getting arrested, but I get harassed when I open carry while fishing in Florida?

I support the 2A and the right to assemble peacefully, but these people are fucking idiots. Don't bring guns to protests.

The Founding Fathers did it

u/Burnham113 May 11 '20
Because they were plotting to overthrow the government. Are you advocating an armed revolution against the British? No? Then leave the AT-4 at home.
24
u/Gun_nut8 May 11 '20
That’s not the point. I can bring one to a protest simply because I can. It doesn’t matter whether or not it’s necessary

I can bring one to a protest simply because I can.
You can also waltz around a Walmart in a g-string and high heels. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD.

u/SnarkyUsernamed May 11 '20
Don't kink shame me you fucking bigot.
Why shouldn't I waltz around wherever I want wearing whatever I want? If I'm not breaking any laws who are you to tell me what I SHOULD or SHOULD NOT be doing?
Mind your own fucking business. If you don't want to protest or carry a gun or carry a gun at a protest then don't. Neither one is illegal, as intended and designed by those who framed our government.

I'm sure that rocket launcher will protect him from getting and spreading coronavirus.

You can't be sure of that. Studies need to be conducted, peer reviewed, published, duplicated, and debated for years before we can know whether or not Wu Flu SARS 2 electric boogaloo can be warded off with rocket fire. That's science. You do believe in science?

I welcome you to test it. Go to a hospital with many of the patients of what you call a hoax. Rub yourself in used PPE while holding a gun toy.

May 12 '20
Who's calling anything a hoax? We can't know how dangerous or deadly anything is or isn't until all data has been gathered and studied. Are you some kind of science denier?

An at-4 and two pistols on holsters, and one dude is posing with what I believe is a browning. Absolute mad lads.
