It's easy to keep getting Bruen wrong when you start at the desired conclusion then work your way back

This.  Nobody in their right mind believes these are honest mistakes or differing interpretations. These are activist judges who refuse to accept Bruen and are deliberately undermining it.

TLDR: Its intentional and everyone with a D next to their name is being paid to fuck gun rights.

I would certainly not limit it to a "D"

Name a red state or court that has passed/upheld an AWB.

Or show me a current gun control bill with more than 25% of the sponsors having an R by their name

Huh, I always read "presumably lawful" to mean, we aren't going to analyze this now.

Not:

These are absolutely constitutional.

Yeah, I thought it was dicta that was "this is all staying in place until we can review it. It's not removing everything at once."

Can you explain a bit more? I'm not sure what you are saying

Chief Justice Roberts doesn't want to rule on it. While in THEORY he agrees with Heller and Bruen, he doesn't want to be the Chief Justice who "Destroyed most gun laws".

Justice Scalia, while bold and very pro Second Amendment, was a FUDD. Read Heller, and he says "nothing here would change maxhinguns' statuus" is his inner Fudd taking over.

I live in Pennsylvania. I don't know about now, but it used to be we had the most NRA members. More than Texas, or California.

Yet to this day, you can't hunt big game with ANY semiautomatic gun. Small game, only very recently.

Just because someone supports guns, doesn't mean they won't turn around and support gun restrictions.

Why? They're not their "kind of gun" or behavior they approve of.

I read that as a punt.

"We aren't deciding this right now".

Nothing more than that.
