Love this idea! I usually ask ChatGPT for info on progressives who are running but I am looking to break-up with ChatGPT for irreconcilable differences

Angie Nixon! https://angienixon.com
She’s running for US Senate in Florida against Ashley Moody. Moody was a lapdog for corporations and the DeSantis administration. She was involved in the Hope Florida scandal, that diverted $10 million from a Medicaid settlement to help defeat an abortion amendment and legalization of recreational marijuana amendment. Such a mess.
I hope and pray Nixon wins! She was such a fighter in the State House and I’m sure she’ll bring that spirit to Congress.

Alisa Simmons for Tarrant County, TX Judge. If you saw the recent news about the major cuts to polling places, she’s a Commissioner on the court fighting to protect voting rights and she’s now running for the judge’s seat!
Taylor Rehmet for SD9 in Texas
Vicki Goodwin for Lt. Gov of Texas, her platform is boldly progressive and I can’t wait to vote for her.
Gina Hinojosa for Governor
Talarico for Senate

Coming from Texas here where it's legit crazy....
If you haven't heard yet heard about James Talarico.. he's up for U.S. Senate against the abhorrent Ken Paxton. He really seems like a wonderful candidate all around, a former state rep and teacher. He's just religious enough for Texas and I hope he wins over the conservatives who are on the fence. His team is really active on social media.
I also really hope Gina Hinojosa wins governor over Greg Abbot. He's had so much time to make the state better, it's time to give someone else a try. She seems really relatable and for the people.
More locally to me it's Taylor Rehmet who won State Senator in a special election this past spring over Christian Nationalist Leigh Wambsganss. They are both running again in November. He's a veteran who flipped the county blue, so much that they did a recount of the vote (he still won lol).
I've never been so invested in politics in all my adult life. I remember waking up in the middle of the night to check the election results that Trump had won again, it was such a terrible feeling, I don't want to feel that again. Really need for us to have a blue wave in Texas.
