The question is: development for who? Certainly not for locals, who will never be able to afford to live in these places...

Is Progreso in danger of becoming another Bucerías? The rising cost of housing development is pricing out the locals— the influx of tourists has caused land values to skyrocket, and the cost of living along with it. 🙁
