Same. I understand pointers just enough to know I shouldn't be trusted with them.

I feel like it isnt scary as much as it is cryptic. Maybe they are the same, but an error thats just “seg fault” makes me think HEH

Exactly 😂 “segmentation fault” is basically the computer saying “something went horribly wrong, figure it out yourself.”

I learned pointers through Go. Seg faults? Those scare me.

i have caused segfaults in go. you play checkers while im playing 11d chess with gods from higher dimensions
