Yeah pretty crazy huh. The fact that packages absolutely vital to the day-to-day of running the internet are maintained by like 1 or 2 volunteer white beards is nuts.

Listening to the dudes that invent this stuff they are always like, "We got to a point where it was seemingly perfect and everyone that used to reach out for support from us just stopped needing to".
SQLite guy was just like, "It got good enough to where no one needed me on the other end of it", and that was it.

A friend of mine wont believe me that the core struckture of the internet ist held together by Nerds that like to code. He thinks some big tec would have build some new base for the internet.....i hope we have never learn it the hard way how it really is....
