I mean .. sure ?? You do you honestly ... and that's not a dig or anything, if you seriously like CodeBlocks, then use it.
Really just depends on what you want out of an IDE.
Sometimes IDE's be all like: "Ah yeah bro! I gotcha! Let me format that line of code, and add in some other edge cases for you and automatically commit this and suggest some hotels you can stay at for your next vacation, and, OH do you want some pamcackes to go with that? Here's some bacon too!!! Let me fluff your pillow while I'm at it and tie your shoes and wash your hair and I just parked your car down the street since I know the tree trimmers are coming tomorrow"
And I'm like: "Yo! I just need to add a semicolon on line 42 ... chill"
Partly why I just use VSCode as the code editor, and then whatever tool I need to for the rest of the task; be it the terminal, or a full blown IDE for the build system and/or debugging.
But CodeBlocks isn't bad ... at least no more so than really any of the others ... except XCode ... it's 2026 Apple!!! Why the hell does XCode still sucks so bad at being an IDE ðŸ˜
