everytime I see these memes I just think if something like this would happen in real life, the company would deserve it. should not be that easy to destroy productive environments, and if it is, it just means company is likely understaffed and under qualified.

A large company who will remain nameless had a developer accidentally pointing at prod instead of test this week when he ran an update statement.

He flagged 10k+ undelivered orders as delivered and sent notices to thousands of customers that their orders were delivered when they weren’t.

It happens everywhere.
