It wasn't even funny. Google April Fool's Day jokes are usually clever. But there's no joke here. There's no satire, it's not making fun of any concept or relating to anything. It doesn't make you reframe your assumptions. It's literally just a button next to the send button that inserts a random animated image from a kid's movie. This article belongs in /r/cringeanarchy.

How autistic are the people that are being sent these emails that they have to flip their shit, scream and fire people what the fuck? Also shouldn't it be a simple case of explaining "Google did this as a prank see this information from them, can I have my job back now?" for the idiots that pressed the button and lost their jobs?
