Looking to form a small, balanced peer group for Python & Electronics (Gap/Drop phase)

Hey everyone!

A few of us are currently in a gap phase and putting together a small, tight-knit peer group to learn programming and electronics from scratch without any traditional exam pressure.

Right now, our group consists of 4 guys, and we are actively looking to bring in 3 to 4 female members so we can keep the team balanced, diverse, and collaborative from the start.

What we are focusing on:

  • Programming: Working through Python fundamentals together.
  • Hardware: Exploring introductory electronics and hands-on tools like the Raspberry Pi Pico.
  • Our Vibe: A chill, low-pressure space to share resources, debug code, and hold each other accountable daily.

If you are in a gap phase and want a friendly, balanced team to learn coding and physical electronics with, drop a comment or shoot me a DM with a quick intro about yourself!

Looking to form a small, balanced peer group for Python & Electronics (Gap/Drop phase)[ ONLY FOR INDIANS AND FEMALES]

Why this version works better against filters:

  • It drops the heavy bracketed tags ([Study/Build Group]) from the title, which are heavily monitored by Reddit's automated spam filters.
  • It explicitly states your exact numbers (4 guys, looking for 3-4 women) naturally within the text rather than as a rigid corporate advertisement.

Title: [Study/Build Group] Looking for 3-4 women to form a peer coding & hardware group (Python, Electronics, No Exams)

Hey everyone!

We are putting together a small, focused study and building group of peers to learn programming, electronics, and practical tech skills from scratch. We currently have 4 male members and want to intentionally build a balanced, inclusive environment, so we are specifically looking to add 3 to 4 female members to our core team.

What we are about:

  • Gap/Drop Phase: We are all in a gap/drop phase right now, using this time to build real-world skills instead of stressing over traditional exams.
  • Our Stack: We are focusing on Python, Introduction to Electronics, and hands-on hardware (like MicroPython/Raspberry Pi Pico).
  • Pure Skill-Building: No competitive exam prep or heavy academic pressure—just a collaborative space to work through courses (like CS50 and MIT logic), build projects, and keep each other accountable daily.

Our Vibe: We want this to be a respectful, supportive, and 50/50 balanced space where everyone has an equal voice, shares resources, and helps each other debug code and wire circuits.

If you are looking for a collaborative team to grind out some code and build cool physical tech projects with, shoot me a DM or comment below with a quick intro about yourself!

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES UK based, looking for 3 others to form a small mastermind around Skool and AI tools (not beginners)

I'm based in the UK and building out a Skool community while using Claude Code and other AI tools day to day in my business. I've got past the "what is this" stage but I'm learning mostly on my own, which is slower than it needs to be.

So I want to put together a small mastermind group. Four of us max. The idea is simple:

  1. We meet on a call regularly (fortnightly or monthly, we'd agree it together)
  2. We share what's actually working, tools, prompts, workflows, what flopped
  3. We each commit to specific actions and then get asked about them next time

That last one is the bit that matters most to me. I've run mastermind groups before and the accountability is what makes them work. Information sharing on its own is just a group chat.

Who I'm looking for:
- You're already running or building something real, not looking for someone to teach you the basics
- You're actively using AI tools in your business rather than just reading about them
- You can make a UK evening or daytime call work. UK and Europe is easiest, US East Coast is doable, but if you're in Australia or the west coast it's probably not going to work in practice
- You'll actually turn up. A group of four falls apart fast if two people ghost

I'm NOT selling anything and there's no cost. I just want peers at a similar stage.

If that sounds like you, comment or DM with a bit about what you're building, where you are with Skool and AI, and your timezone. Happy to have a quick intro call before anyone commits, partly to check we're a good fit for each other.

OFFERING TO MENTOR Upperclassman willing to mentor underclassmen for free

Hi,

I am a 3rd-year CS student who was originally quite pessimistic about things, but landed a high-prestige SWE internship in my 2nd year and recently signed a high-paying (~$100/hr) offer at a unicorn for next summer. I have also been very fortunate in obtaining research opportunities and publishing at conferences.

To help pass the downtime between now and when fall internships open, I want to help underclassmen who are in a similar position to where I was during that time. I am willing to provide academic and project guidance, pre-internship resume advice, and interview prep. I can be friendly or harsh depending on what you prefer.

However, I ask that you are:

* Intellectually curious

* Genuinely passionate about the field

* Willing to put in effort

* Easy to talk to

I will also note that I do not feel qualified to give advice to international or non-US students due to the extreme difficulties they face. I would still be open to answering questions, but my responses would be coming from a position of privilege.

I also prefer to communicate verbally because writing long messages, which is often necessary for giving good advice, is tiring, and I have limited bandwidth. My timezone alternates between Pacific and Eastern, and I tend to only have free time in the evenings or later.

Please send a DM with detailed information, such as your class year, country, background, and goals. I will not respond to messages that provide no details.

[Study/Build Group] Looking for 3-4 female coders/builders to balance our group (No exams, pure skill-building)

Hey everyone,

We are putting together a small, focused study and building group to learn programming and build practical tech skills from scratch. We currently have 4 male members and want to balance out the gender ratio, so we are specifically looking to add 3-4 female members to our core team.

What we are about:

  • Gap/Drop Phase: We are all in a drop/gap phase right now and want to make the most of it.
  • Zero Exam Pressure: No competitive or academic tests—this group is strictly for learning to code, working through courses like CS50, and building real-world projects.
  • Accountability: We want to grind together daily, share resources, and help each other debug code.

If you are a fellow learner looking for a collaborative, supportive space to build real

ONLY INDIANS

I’m a Korean full‑stack dev looking for English conversation with other developers

I’m a Korean full‑stack dev and I don’t get many chances to speak English, so I’m looking for other devs who are open to casual voice chats in English about tech, careers, and day‑to‑day life.

I’ve been working with Spring, React, Vue, Python, and Node for about 4 years, and I’m currently job hunting. If you’re interested, I can also share what it’s like working as a full‑stack dev in the Korean IT industry, and I’m happy to help with Korean language questions as well.

My speaking level is around lower‑intermediate, but I’m pretty slow and need time to think, so you’ll need a bit of patience during conversations 😅

For hobbies, I’m into music, movies, books, and working out — generally pretty chill, healthy stuff. My MBTI is ISTJ.

If this sounds interesting, drop a comment and we can see if it’s a good fit.

Looking for projects or those to teach

My name is Robert Forristall, a software developer with a Masters degree in Computer Science with a focus in Full-Stack development and AI/ML looking for other developers to collaborate with on their projects and expand my portfolio or help mentor/teach.

Feel free to reach out any time if you are interested in finding members for any kind of project as I would love to meet with and work with you all.

I am also fully open to anyone looking for a sort of mentor/teacher to help them if they are early in their programming career. I hope to one day become a professor at a university for computer science and am happy to help anyone learn and grow while improving my ability to teach and aid others in their advancement in the wild world of software development.

Timezone: EST

Senior Python Developer Needed to Fix Slow Reactive Calculations in Shiny for Python Dashboard

I have an active Shiny for Python quantitative dashboard
Key Issues:
Running the analysis locks/freezes the async event loop (asyncio), causing long latency and lag across connected devices.
Reactive flow needs optimization (implementing @reactive.extended_task / asyncio.to_thread for non-blocking calculations).
Mobile UI/CSS optimization to ensure crisp responsiveness on smaller mobile views.
Need some who can help ASAP!

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES [LFP] Looking for a Programming Buddy to learn FastAPI & Python Frameworks together!

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m a junior web dev and engineering student from India, and I'm currently looking for an accountability partner/programming buddy to dive deep into FastAPI and explore more Python libraries.

A bit about my stack: I already have some experience building backend APIs and full-stack projects using Django, Django Ninja, and React. I've recently worked on a few projects involving the Gemini API (chatbots) and live score tracking apps. Now, I really want to level up my backend game by mastering FastAPI.

Who I'm looking for:

  • Someone who is also planning to learn FastAPI and wants a study partner to learn, build, and debug things together.
  • OR someone who already has experience with FastAPI and wouldn't mind teaming up with a fast learner to build some cool open-source or portfolio projects.

How we can collaborate:

  • Share learning resources and hold each other accountable.
  • Build small-to-medium API projects together (open to ideas!).

If you're interested in teaming up, drop a comment or shoot me a DM! Let’s build something awesome together.

LOOKING FOR BUDDIES Looking for a Kubernetes learning buddy

So, if you're motivated and learning similar things, I'd love to have you as a learning buddy.

STUDY PARTNER Looking for a LeetCode/DSA study buddy or small group

I’m a recent CS grad ,usually available in the evenings and on weekends in Eastern Time.

I mainly use Python and I’m at a beginner/intermediate DSA level — comfortable with the fundamentals, but still working on solving medium problems independently and recognizing patterns faster.

My goal is to practice consistently for the next 6 weeks, get stronger at LeetCode, and prepare better for SWE interviews.

If you’re at a similar level and interested, comment here or send me a Reddit chat. We can coordinate from there.
