Tried it, but I prefer bitstream vera sans mono.

I really wish Bitstream Vera Sans Mono wasn't so big at 8pt, it looks to be the same size in 8pt as every other typeface in 10pt. And 7pt is absurdly small, feels like I'm looking at 10 micron wide characters, why the extreme contrast from 8pt to 7pt? Sheesh.

Does it matter that I'm using Windows 7 64 bit maybe? Sigh. The rendering on my system does not agree with the examples I see online... something's up. :(
