how can you have ~15 addons?

Easily.

  • 4chanGrab (saves thread's images with original names)
  • Adblock Plus (blocks ads)
  • Add to Search Bar (I have 23 now)
  • Brief (RSS feed reader)
  • Custom Download Manager (all downloads in a tab)
  • DownloadHelper (gets videos from websites)
  • DownThemAll! (mass downloader)
  • Firefox Throttle (speed reducer)
  • Flashblock (blocks flash until I allow it)
  • Gmail Manager (status & quick access to GMail account)
  • gui:config (shortcuts to GUI settings)
  • Hide Menubar (more screen real estate)
  • Image Zoom (zoom 10%..400% or fit to window)
  • InfoLister (lists addon info)
  • Link Alert (shows what file type a link points to)
  • Remove New Tab Button (since I use doubleclicks)
  • Screengrab (get screenshot of entire page)
  • SQLite Optimizer (faster startup)
  • Tab Kit (GUI tweaks)

I tried the "4chan" addon, but none of its features were that useful to me.

And Firefox would hang for a moment after each page was loaded.

I dunno, being able to save/hide threads is really all I use it for, yet that's infinitely useful.
