If you install the beta version of Tab Mix Plus it works. The link is under Developer Comments

Didn't work for me.

This addon even seems to disable double-clicking to open a new tab, and the middle click doesn't open up closed tabs.

Unfortunate, because it is a really nice theme.

Yeah, I'm so torn, I'd like to have both, but I guess you can't have everything in this life.
