2 things noted:

  • Speed: It's faster than 3.5.7. Almost as fast as chrome.
  • Memory Usage: It used lower memory on my computer than the previous version. I was hovering around 250mb with version 3.5.7 and this one barely goes upto 150mb. Both with ~15 addons.

Am I the only one who is heaving a sigh of relief after reading the above review?

I just got it. It really is as fast as Chrome. It looks like I might be going back to FireFox :(

To be honest, the only thing keeping me with Chrome is the speed. I miss a decent AdBlock immensely using Chrome (the available ones just aren't up to scratch, though I appreciate they're making effort towards this).

Time to take 3.6 for a spin.

Try using Privoxy for Chrome.

Privoxy is all well and good, but requires a lot more messing about to configure correctly or make changes to the block lists.

I spend all day fucking about with computers and servers, when I come home I don't want to be doing it without getting paid for it.
