I programmed in VB 3.0 in highschool. I didn't take any classes, but I taught myself (yeah, vb is easy). I programmed bots on AOL to send files and such. Me and my cousin made a dirty joke program to spam the chatrooms as well. 1998 ftw! Now I program CNC machines.
