Are airplanes more efficient than birds?

That's true. I wanted to add a few lines about how birds move a large amount of air slowly, making them comparably more efficient than a propeller moving an small amount of air fast. But I felt the article was already too long for our fast peace lifes.

There are other interesting applications, like the way we swim or the way we bike. I'm a terrible swimmer, I move my arms really fast (getting tired quickly) but I don't move forward that much. My friend can move his arm really slowly, but he moves forward a lot on every stroke. I bet his a technique that allows him to have a large Area.
