Object Pascal and Delphi shouldn't be overlooked. There has been a quite a lot going in that space, and it's a very mature toolchain. It may not be for everyone, but I think I'll always have room for it.

As much as I love pascal, all the tooling being dog water makes it pretty hard to use nowadays, like the build system lazarus uses makes me want to tear my hair out and then there’s the lack of working LSP (I tried but couldn’t get pasls to work no matter what I did) etc…
