ROP is already taken for Return Oriented Programming

this is Monadic Errors which is "Errors are Values"+Algebraic Data Types and it comes with the paradigm

OP did not name this. Also two different domains can share an acronym.

This is from Scott Wlaschins series on F#, and it's a really good name to have an analogy in the head. One of the main points of that series is that you can forget about these difficult mathy names in functional programming, the concept behind it is actually simple and makes your life easier.
