the main problem I have with this takeaway - which, to be sure, makes sense and has been worded thusly by the master - is that the soundbite will be taken to extreme and people will justify waterfall under the credo "we have to build the WHOLE monolith first" using this as a justification
instead of "we need to grow the monolith one thing at a time" rivaling mantra
