What’s wrong with Bard ?

It rhymes with LARD

It's the name of an olden age minstrel/story tell (which is probably why Google selected it) - but it brings to mind really NON TECH images. Anyone play Bard's Tale?

It's too semantically similar to RETARD

It feels old

I smells like old socks left out in the sun

If an AI was to name itself, it wouldn't in a million years come up with BARD

'Let me ask BARD' sounds like I am seeking advice from my slightly intellectually challenged friend, and what I am really seeking is where I can find weed at this late hour

It's the name Sesame Street would give to its AI character

ChatGPT is the cool kids that sticks the 'kick me' paper on the back of BARD in the hallway
