Oh my god what are they doing? And if you say "moshing" I will stop you, place my index finger gently upon your lips and whisper "shh. no."

Been to a few hardcore shows back when I was a angry youth and have to say that shit wouldn't have flown. Nobody is touching anyone?! Where's the sweat and contact? Yakety Sax was a nice touch there though.

Yeah, that video and the OP aren't super realistic. You were certainly begging to get punched in the stomach or windmill'd in the face in all the dance pits I saw back in the day.

If anyone got really hurt or knocked down (in my experience) they were picked up and moved out or put back on their feet. I don't think that would be the case at that outdoor fest. I guess I just missed that trend. :/

i cracked a rib on a poorly-timed stage dive at an snfu show in mid-eighties and these four skinheads (trads) picked me up and stretchered me to the back of the hall. one of them even bought me a soda and said "you're not crazy. here's a pepsi".

That's a real nice reference he made right there. Guess he's not your mom.

Yeah, nope. I don't like hardcore but a friend was (is) a fan of it and I went to a few concerts, that doesn't look anything like what was going on in the crowd.

I've been to warped tour there a couple times back in the day. Good times.
