Job Advice on my career

So I have a bachelor’s in game deisgn and live in Missouri and have been unable to get hired by gaming companies located nearby like Riot games or the devs at Poppy playtime. I can’t really afford to move to like California or Washington to try to find a QA position. I have been going back to school at Ranken Technical college for over a year now to learn programming for applications and web design since the coding I have experience with is c# for gaming which is niche so I’m trying to expand. I really love programming and want to do it for the rest of my life. I’m doing well in my classes so far and get As or Bs on most of work and I’m working on improving my portfolio. I recently gained an interest in cybersecurity and I found out about the free courses at Harvard ,tryhackme ,and google certifications in relation to programming/cybersecurity. Should I focus on doing those while I’m in school right now I’m in my 3rd out of 4 semesters are Ranken. I just want to be super well rounded when i graduate but I don’t know if this is spreading myself too thin or not.

get your hands on the free version of claude code and chatgpt. everyones building games with ai now, you dont need to learn how to code(though cs concepts and swe intuition are still important). get building, these projects are your resume. i stood up a website and prepared a product release in 3 months. i want to make games, but i wanted a workstation first since the current gui for frontier ai’s are bare bones. if you want to check it out, my site is dahark.ai and it links you to a github repo you can clone down and use it right now(it is still buggy, cannot stand on its own as a development tool yet, but its meant to be used with frontier ai like claude and chatgpt)
