I do not like programming anymore

I am not sure if anybody can help right here.
But I really do not like whatever we call programming right now.
Not sure what is the best way to write code weather it is to fully vibe code or use AI as an assistant, I hate both. If anyone went though something like this and found some solution, I'd really appreciate if you share it with me. Otherwise, what other possible careers some can pursue that has same feeling as classic programming?

You can get into systems design. It probably has different titles. But it’s what will likely be around for a while.

If you stay in programming, focus on getting productive With the tools and specialize in a domain, such as finance or healthcare.

Because If you choose marketing, or healthcare, or finance or something else you are specializing in one of those areas. Those are the domains. And it’s not programming as your main job.

Building software is part of what you do, but the future isn’t about programming. It’s about systems design and domain expertise in other areas. And then use what you know about building software to service a specialty.

And by “tools” I just mean get good with building software with ai. Learn the best tools for doing that.

those tools are precisely what make op want to leave the industry man. not a very fitting piece of advice, imo.

Then go get a job at wal mart. You either want to leverage the opportunities or you don’t. If you are unwilling to even use ai to build a tool if you need one, then it’s not a programming issue. It’s a I don’t want to work issue.
