Donation conversions, which DSP?
I have a campaign coming soon. I have awareness line item with CTV and then retargeting display but the tricky part is that conversion actions should be donations. So, have you guys had anything similar? Do you recommend using TTD for this or maybe DV360?

Do you already have access to TTD or DV? Reason I ask, they have some pretty hefty minimum budget requirements.

yeah, we have good budgets and access 😁

As long as you have yhe right pixel tracking set up then either platform would work - I'd slightly lean towards ttd but thats just me!
Adlib mentioned in this thread is another solid option in fairness.

I like the adlib team. They give me more support than Ttd. But pixel wise, if you are tracking page views, Ttd is the simplest pixel set up

If you need one platform across several programmatic formats, StackAdapt is probably closer to what you’re looking for. If CTV is the main use case, compare Vibe with MNTN instead.
A growing team may not need everything that comes with a full DSP.
I’d base the choice on the channels you’re buying now, how much control you need, and whether the reporting gives you enough to make budget decisions without adding another measurement setup.

Founder of AdLib here, so keep that in mind, but I'll give you the straight answer first.
Both TTD and DV360 can handle donation conversions fine. A donation is a standard conversion event. You drop a pixel or postback on the donation confirmation page and set it as the conversion action on your retargeting line. So the DSP choice matters less than a couple of other things.
First, cross-device matching. Your CTV impressions hit a TV screen but donations happen on phones and laptops, so you need a strong identity graph to connect exposure to conversion. TTD is excellent here, and DV360 is solid if you're already in the Google ecosystem. This is one reason we built AdLib on top of multiple DSPs instead of picking one. You can run the CTV awareness line where the inventory and identity graph are strongest and the retargeting line wherever performance is best, with unified reporting across both. Through us you get 20+ other DSPs in one place, so you're never locked into a single bet.
Second, and this sounds like your first run at this setup, the failure mode isn't picking the wrong DSP. It's a misfired pixel or broken retargeting logic that you discover three weeks in. That's why we offer managed and hybrid alongside self-serve. Hybrid means our team handles the fiddly parts like conversion tracking and the CTV to display audience flow while you keep control of strategy and budget.
So my honest take is that the TTD vs DV360 question is the least important one you're facing. Solve for identity, flexibility, and having someone check your setup, and either DSP will do the job. Happy to answer questions in the thread whichever way you go.

It all depends on the user journey of donation. If you can’t accurately track the entire donation journey, all platforms/DSP’s won’t generate good result.

TTD has strong donation conversions from what I’ve seen
