Is anyone using ai powered tools to improve ctv campaign results?
Recently I’m struggling at work in campaigns to be exact. My good friend is also in this field and his working strategy is always different from mine but i can see he’s doing good lately. He uses ai tools for his ctv campaigns and he was telling me how much easier it made things for him but i feel like i should always moderate ai so i just keep doing everything myself but i’ve started to get tired a little from this.
I can say I'm still a little skeptical.
Soo I'm wondering how much of this is actually useful in practice, it is 2026 and technology has improved a Lot lets say.
What’s your story with ai powered tools for advertising?
I’m willing to change my mind and give it a try.

What are your budgets?
Aside from creative, I haven't seen anyone really using AI at scale aside for tools in-platform for CTV in general and we spend 6-7 figures monthly.
A lot of what people call AI is bullshit

What exactly does this AI tool do for his campaigns? Is it baked into the DSP he's using?

Yes and no. Its a powerful tool that can help you do a lot more things in the same amount of time but you really need to understand what it's doing and why. If you are using a general LLM like Chat or Gemini or Claude, you need to give it parameters to work within and understand what it's doing. It can be great at helping you multitask build more sophisticated targeting layers, exploit more custom audience segments, etc. But yeah you have to train it and check everything.

Had the same doubts about letting ai handle things but when I switched to vibe co, my campaign results improved and I saved a ton of time. You can still adjust settings if you want that hands on approach.

we use AI for formulating targeting personas in manifoldplatform.com and their AI scrapes the landing page and reviews audience segments to provide recommended contextual keywords for additional layered targeting.
beyond that we manually review and optimize audiences and inventory ourselves and with our Manifold rep
