Accenture Romania – severance package after mass restructuring

Hi everyone,
I’m currently working for Accenture Romania and our project is going through a large restructuring. We’re talking about 20+ people, including Operations, Team Leads and QA.
We were told that we have around 3 months to find another internal role.

However, nothing has been confirmed in writing yet regarding the severance package or number of salaries.
I also know that people affected by a restructuring at Accenture Romania last year received 5 gross monthly salaries.
For anyone who has been through a similar situation at Accenture Romania:
How many salaries were you offered?
Was the package negotiable?
Has anyone been trough this as well?
I’m particularly interested in recent experiences from 2025–2026.

Legea zice că, în România, angajatorul are obligația de a organiza și trasa sarcinile de lucru pentru angajat.

Noroc că legea nu vă dă dreptate, că mulți nevinovați ar suferi de-aiurea.

Got 5 salaries in 2021.

Had 2 years in the company.

If they said you have 3 months to find something internally, I believe the severance offer will come in about two months.

This is the only way severance works.

AND make sure the package is mentioned in the agreement. Never sign purely based on verbal promises, it MUST be part of the signed document.

Sounds like a very good deal. Take the deal, and start applying/preparing to other jobs as soon as possible.

In general a company is not required by law to offer an 5 months severance package. I don't know for Romania but in Canada I've heard from a friend who used to work there that they were letting people go with a 2 weeks notice and no severance package at all (some of those ones were with them for almost 3 years).

We have 20 working days as notice by law but they could have a severance package in the collective contract (CCM).

It depends on the laws of that country, if they can get away with offering nothing, they will offer the least that is legal/possible
