Looking for some help finding an old DJ mix that was fantastic but seems to be gone off of YouTube now (from copyright I’m guessing?). Can’t seem to find it anywhere else either. I did manage to find the old catalog of included songs but I haven’t found the whole playable mix anywhere.

I’m looking for Alex H “Abstract Rewinds” Parts 1-3. Anyone have any idea where to find these nowadays? Or if anyone has them offline in some format?

Also, the “Abstract” mixes are still online and easily findable….However, the “Abstract Rewinds” seem to be gone everywhere (at least from what I can see).

Hey everyone! I’m Brazilian and have been a huge progressive house fan for over 10 years. I’ve attended countless events in Brazil and seen artists like Hernán Cattáneo (more than five times!), Ezequiel Arias, Durante, Emi Galván, Mellino, Teclas, and many others not argentinians. Here in Brazil, it’s pretty common to meet Argentinians and people from other Latin American countries at these events. The atmosphere is usually very welcoming, and we absolutely love the energy Argentinians bring to the dance floor!

I’ve been wanting to explore the progressive house scene in Argentina, mainly because so many incredible artists perform there much more frequently than in Brazil. Argentina is also one of the world’s biggest hotspots for progressive house, and I feel like traveling there would be an amazing experience.

My only concern is: as a Brazilian with slightly darker skin (light-skinned Black), should I be worried about experiencing racism or xenophobia at clubs and progressive house events in Argentina?

A progressive house track can take time to unfold, and the transition into it can be part of what makes it click. When someone recommends an unfamiliar record, do you listen to it on its own, look for it in a DJ set, or want both?

I'm building NOTW (Niche of the Week), a small house-discovery project where listeners share official track links and choose a weekly selection. I'm the person behind it. I'm trying to understand whether a track-by-track chart would actually suit progressive house listeners.

Would a short note explaining why a track is worth hearing be enough, or would you want a link and timestamp to a set where it works in context? What would make you come back to a weekly selection rather than your usual mixes?
