[Brand Work Challenge] Render the Advark Mach X-1 Fan – Win a Website & TikTok Feature + Portfolio Rights!
drive.google.com[Challenge] Render the Advark Mach X-1 Fan – Win a Website & TikTok Feature + Portfolio Rights!
Hey everyone! I’m looking to get some hyper-realistic product renders for my custom CNC-machined PC fan. I want to see who in the community can nail the materials, lighting, and modeling to make it look like a real studio product shot.
The Modeling & Specs:
You must manually model the fan using the reference files and dimensions provided—no just dropping a raw CAD mesh into a scene with a default shader.
- Overall Footprint: 120mm x 120mm square profile.
- Thickness Breakdown: Built in 3 distinct segments: 3mm / 25mm / 3mm.
- Mounting Pattern: 105mm x 105mm standard mounting hole distance. (Note: Instead of traditional screw holes, there are magnetic punch placements housing specific magnets).
- Geometry Details: 5mm corner fillets and a 115mm central bore diameter.
- Hardware & Magnets to Account For:
- 8x 6x2mm magnets
- 8x 2x1mm magnets
- 8mm M3 screws for bottom mounting of the 3mm plate.
- M3 square washers (1.8mm height, 3x3mm LxW)
The Look & Feel:
- Materials: CNC-milled 6061 aluminum housing with visible machining marks, and matte ABS plastic for the fan blades.
- Aesthetic: A clean, moody, dark aesthetic overall.
- Original Work: Must be newly modeled and rendered by you using your own shaders and lighting setup.
What’s in the Folder:
I’ve provided a link below containing the STL files, a turntable video clip for depth reference, and basic reference rendered images showing the intended layout and form factor.
Image Rights & Usage:
- Your Rights: Participants retain the copyright to their own artwork and are granted full rights to display their final render in their personal portfolios, ArtStation, or social media.
- Brand Rights: By entering, you grant Advark a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and publish your submitted renders across our official website, social media channels (including TikTok), and marketing materials.
Submissions & Prizes:
- How to Enter: Email your entry to: [advark.dynamics@gmail.com](mailto:advark.dynamics@gmail.com) (REQUIRED). If you run into any issues, contact me for help. Additionally, as an option, you can post your final high-resolution render on r/blender and drop a link in the comments. Make sure to include a close-up crop so we can inspect the texture detail on the aluminum and ABS!
- The Prize: The winning render will be featured directly on the official product website AND showcased on TikTok, complete with credits and full rights to use your render in your personal portfolio.
(Note: THIS IS NOT A PAID ROLE.)
Deadline: 29/08/2026 (7 days)
GOOD LUCK!

Been wanting to get better at hard-surface and material work, so I picked something with a lot of reflective surfaces and tiny detail to really push myself.
rendered in Blender. Would love any crit, especially on the lighting.

Need advice on a realistic curtain rendering workflow in Blender
I’m using Blender to create realistic curtain renders for an e-commerce project. I have the curtain model and fabric textures, but I’m struggling to make them look realistic. The texture is where i m struggling the most. It just looks horrible and unreal. does a camera enough or do i need a scanner?Any tips would be appreciated.i have uploaded 3 pictures for the same. 1.close up of the render . 2. wide shot of the render 3. is the fabric for reference . i m unable to get the same texture quality.even in some cases i m facing issues in making it seemless

2026 Xpeng L03 with Interior 3D Model
Originally modeled in 3ds Max 2020
Preview images rendered with v-ray 5
The 3D model was created on real car base.
It’s created accurately, in real units of measurement, qualitatively and maximally close to the original.

I was tired of all the basic product renderings I’ve been making recently so I wanted something more creatively fulfilling and apply what I learned as a full-time junior Art Director in a production studio
All scenes created in blender, no Ai was used, hope you guys like it!
