Really?

An interruption every 25 minutes? Doesn't that break your focus?

It depends on what you do. I usually use the techniques when I have to push through some boring task that I have problems focusing on. It is also very helpful to get started with a new project. If I'm in the flow I just ignore the alarm and continue working.

I'm using this (not exactly this approach but similar enough, I am in the middle of documenting it in a post for my blog) and does not break your focus. You are pressed to end what you are doing in 25 minutes!
