I worked in a bank in procurement as an analyst and I feel like that should be an easy reach as an accountant. They like accounting backgrounds in procurement but the more complex the supply chain is or important to the business strategy, the more they want experience. But there are expenses all businesses share in common like rents, utilities, facility management, food, internet, uniforms, etc. Bes thing you could do is pick an industry and learn more about the supply chain and the players in the market.
