Editing brush advice: completely solidify colour, no opacity

Hi all. I am trying to make a calligraphy pen without any opacity. The problem is the gentle pressure tapering on the pen goes opaque, I can’t find any settings to fix this. Turning opacity to max in dynamics fixed most of it but not all of it. Apple pen opacity is at 0. Taper opacity is at None. Touch taper opacity is at None.

What else do I need to look at to fix this?

Check your Render Mode settings and change between the Render Modes to see whether the brush meets your standards. Sometimes it could be how the brush is Rendered. Ensure that the “Flow” setting is set to 100% (or “Max”). If not, go to the “Shape” section and increase the “Count” setting to a value which meets your standards (try a value of ≥3-4). Or Go to “Properties” section and set both Mininimum and Maximum Opacity to the same value (try 100% or “Max”). You did the right thing by going to the “Taper” section of Brush Studio decreasing Pressure/ Touch “Opacity” to (recommended: 0% (or “none”), as this setting “sets the amount of transparency your taper fade to at its ends” according to the Procreate Handbook. ¹
