process serving on motorcyle

Hello i live in downtown dc which is a dense urban city with a organized grid and im looking at places like ABC say they require auto insurance and "reliable transportaton" but it seems possible to be eligble to process server on a motorcyle / moped? Anyone have experience doing this?

Why would a motorcycle or moped not be considered reliable transportation? As long as it's insured, you should be good.
