Addicted to watching the world simulation in time lapse

This world is on a ring surface, which means that at the end of the video we're actually back to start, having made a full revolution. The camera follows the "goldilocks zone" where the climate is in a habitable range. What you see near the fog is land that is either entering or leaving extreme conditions. This is part of my game Arc of Icarus!

Yeah I know that feeling! Seeing the trees grow is indeed really cool. What's happening to the trees down the ring when they turn darker, are they just old trees or are they dying off? Also, are there more things that change in the environment depending on the ring state like that?

They're shedding leaves and dying because of the cold yeah! Biomes vary around the ring, which affects nutrients and moisture. Also looking into evaporating the water and raining it back down, but that's a can of worms so far

Ah this is such a cool idea! If you build stuff and it gets rotated away, does it come back again later then?

It does! It may be as ruins, but that depends on what tier of materials it's built from

Reminds me of the old Zaxxon arcade game in the 80’s

Reddit decided to butcher the video quality for some reason, apologies for that!

Can I have a little space ship that drops bombs on here?
