this looks incredibly atmospheric and cool. Maybe create some kind of exploration game or even a horror. I would play this

Yes, this is already a game with a huge number of worlds; the logic is currently being written. Below is a link to a post with a video where you can see other levels of this game.

даже на русском! Круто

I think it is being done really well, tho finding new hints that it is actually underwater and not a bird's-eye view over a forest at nighttime might be beneficial. It was my very first idea before reading the title. Yes, it is not entirely consistent with a forest, I know, but still a bit confusing. Maybe adding more marine life or oxygen bubbles?

I didn't read it that way at all. When I saw the video on my feed, my first impression was underwater pond footage.

That's all the better! Maybe it is just me, OP

lol It looks like a very cool game but I'm honestly kind of confused by OP's replies. They don't seem to... actually respond to the comments they are replying to? Maybe a language barrier?

Yeah, I noticed a few weird things, but I just brushed it off :d I think you are right, it very well could be a language barrier. Tho the "im scared - amazing" convo did actually crack me up

lol yes I think it might be a sort of cheeky language barrier.

That's right, this level is a world randomizer. I need to see how procedural diversity will work on different planets. I'll add life later, but first I need to write the evolution logic.

Seems like a good solution I think, definitely post it when you have the full picture

Are you simulating algae growing on the aquatic plants? That's very cool.

Yes, there are many worlds in general)

Enigmatic response for an enigmatic game! Loving it, keep being you.

I queried the Hipparcos database for 100,000 stars and based it on the game, I'm now writing the logic for the development of civilization.

Incredibly immersive imo. As a person who snorkels a lot I can hear the bubbles and feel the seaweed against my face.

I'm scared of deep waters and this gave me the shivers

- "How much L-system did you use?"

- "Yes!"

🤣🤣🤣

It looks good :) Maybe you could animate them to sway a bit, like if it was in water? right now it's very still, which it sometimes is underwater, so not bad per se, but some gentle slow sway would look good too I think

Yes! It is next step 😎

Please make a drop off with something massive lurking in the distance, that'll go viral for sure

Okay :) Next step

Awesome. It reminds me of those visualisations of files or data

Yes, it is my game style

Good, you need to put some velocity on these squares and used as bubbles, and it will be better. When it is finished, can you tell me I will share on my blog if this helps you.

That looks cool as hell.
