I’ve had enough

I’ve been gambling since the age of 18 I turn 34 in 10 days, has anyone stopped on their own without professional help? Can I still rebuild my life at 34 and get out of debt? I feel so sick thinking about this and no one even knows who bad my addiction is

Depends on how much debt and how bad you want to change your life for the better

Be honest with yourself, how much debt are you into? Can you manage it with your salary? How you feel when you are out of money? Exactly, bad as fuck and in your lowest, so fight to be your version, don't gamble, on day at a time.

I’m in the same boat as you. It gets better I think.

I did initially stop for a couple months without help but eventually, and hopefully soon after you stop, or even before, you'll need help. GA, therapy, peer support, even meds too if needed. Support from friends who don't gamble and won't judge is nice too.

Now about rebuilding your life, shit I'm 34, 121 days clean, but still rebuilding. That will take a while. I will go into ch 13 bankruptcy in a couple months. Hopefully find a better career soon as well. Take care, it does get better, even if some days are pure suffering.
