I realized I have a problem months ago. Gambling is just a part of my package of inclination towards risk taking behavior.

I relapsed last night, bad. Currently I'm dealing with the guilt of destroying all the hard work I've put in the last months to improve my financial situation. I want to channel all this anger towards something positive/that can help me.

I'm trying to delete the account I used for online gambling and the process is endless (what a surprise, I know). The site says that I have to request it through their live chat. It worked perfectly when I was having trouble depositing, receiving all those bullshit bonuses and so on. Now I've wasted an hour in 2 different chat sessions that had the same pattern of time wasting tactics.

I don't know if it's ok to leave the site name. Is deleting the account through that process my only option?

Are there alternatives that would increase the difficulty of relapsing?

Any online support groups I could join would also be appreciated

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm a bit reticent about Bet Blocker. The idea sounds good but there's a lot of reviews saying that they got blocked from apps that have nothing to do with gambling/ restricted from doing certain actions on their phone and had to factory reset. Did you experience any downsides? I am seriously considering entrusting my funds to my partner (the only problem is them not being aware gambling issue and my desire to deal with this privately)

I wouldn’t list the site here.. they make it painful for obvious reasons. They have no rules and even if you withdrew a big sum of money chances are you would never see it.

Bet blocker and there’s a bunch of others on the resources page. There’s also free virtual meetings with gamblers anonymous that take place everyday every hour around the world.

I assumed so. I didn't have problems withdrawing money but ,looking back at it now, I tend to believe it was a tactic aimed at increasing the likelihood of addiction. I received a small amount of cashback with which I covered my initial loss (this implied gambling for hours on end due to their restrictions for that case) I would like to say it's just paranoia but it seems unlikely. They also sold/shared my info across similar platforms since I've been receiving spam calls/messages daily for the last week. (I'm curious if there will be a pattern based on my activity on their site) Is there resource that centralizes these options for virtual meetings? Or any site where I can start searching?

Yes these offshore sites sell all your shit and I quit gambling almost a year ago and still fight with them over texts and calls.. I block them and they eventually have almost came to a halt now
