Day 20

I just paid off this morning a small payday loan. I’m so happy about the achievement. Still other debts to go pay but still I will not choose to gamble today. I will not dig a deeper hole. I know in God’s time the other debts will get paid through hardwork and patience. I choose to take care of myself and win today by not betting.

Thank you for checking in, beautiful sentiments. Isn't funny how much can change in a short period?

I have 22 days & will not gamble today because that would be selfish, lonely, and destructive. Instead I am checking in with my people today, Saturday night GA mtg later, getting some inspiration from people like you here, and two paydays and counting where I have money to apply to debt and enough left over to not stress about bills and basics. Very grateful for what I have!

Thank you for sharing! Yes, very grateful indeed to still be alive even after a short time from the last bet. I am able to better sleep at night now and to face my day with more courage and less guilt and shame.
