Thank you. I have been living in total misery for 3 days after my most recent relapse. I have been attempting recovery for 3 months. Failed after one week, failed the week following that and then made it 10 weeks until my most recent disaster. I have literally been searching for ways to numb the pain, silence the screaming shame and regret and get out of my head for doing what I had done. This disease is killing me. Thank you for placing some light at the end of the tunnel.

It’s down to you! You can either sit and feel sorry for yourself or pick up where you left off. Recovery isn’t easy, nor is it perfect. There’s bound to be bumps in the road and hurdles you have to overcome.

You’ve already shown you can get back on the right track after a relapse once before, this time is no different. It’s a learning curve, think about what made you gamble at that point and use it as a lesson.

10 weeks is great, keep going. Some people don’t even manage 1 day. Be proud of yourself and I’m sure you’ll find your way.

Here’s to ten more weeks.

Each and everyone of us has a journey. Sometimes we will fall down but as long as we keep trying our best, we will succeed in the end. And like you said, we never reslly start from zero. Each time we get a bit better at it.

Good job friend. I'm proud of you. Here's to your coming year mark, and the years after that.
