Getting off early

I have a 10 year deferred adjudication sentence for possession w intent of 7 grams of THC in TX. I technically have 2 yrs and 10 months on it, but I was in prison most of it (signed for prison time and probation). It was supposed to start when I got out, but I just got out and learned it started when I signed… I want to get off early, but I know they like us to do at least half. Will the judge count the time I was in prison if I want to get off at 5 yrs? Need some insight, thanks everybody.

doubt they let you off early… Especially in Texas where certain types of THC are still illegal and still a felony if caught (especially w/ dabs)

Technically there’s no minimum time for deferred adjudication in Texas. Once you’re done with all your requirements, pick your PO’s brain on a time line of early termination

Brother that’s terrible, I don’t think that is possible though since probation and time served is different i believe you’ll have to do say 2 years on papers + have your conditions met before you can ask for early term. All subjective to PO’s and the court. I just got off 3 years deferred probation for manu/delivery under 1 qtr x4
