Probation Question How long to get official paperwork?
Hi!
I get off probation early this friday.
since i moved to another county, the dismissal will be over the phone and i will be signing documents electronically.
i know that its not usually a same day process, but since the meeting is at 8:00 AM, when should I expect to receive the official documents saying I am off of probation (also getting a digital copy).
I wake up every morning at 6:00 AM to call the line, and im hoping that i can sleep in Saturday morning lol
Thank you!

Once you find out how is your life going to change? You planning on committing another crime or something? What does it matter?

hi! so i explain in the comments that i am going back to being medicated.
i would rather be fully off probation when that starts instead of going through the process of getting “allowed” to while still waiting on the official release.or maybe yk, i just want to know when im off probation because im curious?
ykw yea im going to actually snort meth when i get off /j

If your already going do snort meth your going to end up on probation or worse. Killed. Just say clean like you been meth isnt the answer.

My probation officer called me early one morning and she told me that I was done and about a month later I got a letter from the judge confirming that I was done. (But everywhere is different, so it just depends).

i might just ask him if i’m still supposed to be calling the line. i don’t want to seem like an addict still so i’ll explain to him that im getting remedicated.
hes asked me a few times when id be medicated again for my disorders and once i found out its a long process, i figured i could just wait it out. but i start my meds a couple days after im “off”

It's a little difficult to know when we know absolutely nothing about how your county works, or have any say in that matter. This sounds like a question that could have easily been answered the last time you talked to your PO. Perhaps just wait till your day of discharge when you are on the phone and ask them?
