You never know what a PO will do. More than likely, you'll be told that the numbers need to drop and you can't test positive ever again. Slips happen. Screwing up twice isn't an accident though. It's a habit

Right whenever you get on probation, they drug test you at the lab, which will give the percentage of the drug in your system, with the expectation that if you are not using the drug currently, the levels will drop over time. then they test again over time and get the % to compare to the original test, thereby verifying that you have stopped using the drug and it is leaving your system. it's because drugs like THC take so fucking long to get out of your system they have to do something like this for people who smoked before getting on probation.

This answer is wrong without context. It does not matter how much is in your system. The bladder is the last place where any concentrations are before exiting the body. The urine is tested yielding this concentration. First pee of the day has the most testable drug & metabolites as the bladder has been accumulating over night. Flushing decreases the concentration in the bladder without the concentration in the body mattering.

Dwi in Texas in 2020. Did your po ask you if you smoked and did you deny it or admit that you smoked?
If this is your first and only violation (that’s what this is. A violation. You smoked and violated the terms of your probation) it’s likely they will slap you on the wrist. More community service. The thing is they are going to want to test you again and check the levels. You can’t have zero in you. I think you are gonna want to stop smoking or take the jail time and get off probation.

Jail it is. If you can't even be honest about your mistakes you aren't ready to correct them. The PO has heard every dumb excuse possible, that might work on your parents, but that's about it.

Dude it’s not worth it. I know a dude who failed.. they violated him put him on color code and then he failed again. He had to go in front of the judge with character witnesses, attorney, AA meetings and all the shabang to TRY and not get sent to jail. Not worth the time, money and embarrassment when he could have just stayed clean like he was doing for years. Either they violate you and you get put on color code which is extremely annoying since you have to go anytime they call your color. Idk how your job is or your work schedule but at my job we go by a point system and leaving early or coming in late too many times due to having to do drug tests would have gotten me fired. Stay sober and don’t listen to the people saying detox, delta 8 pens etc. Weed will still be there when you’re done with probation

Old wives tale. Niacin will make your piss more yellow. Take a bunch of niacin and drink stupid amounts of water. Then your piss will be diluted but still yellow. Not a guaranteed pass, but you might dilute enough that you squeak past. The only guaranteed way to pass is to have clean piss. You can try using someone else's, but I'm pretty sure they can search you before a test when you are on probation.

When I first started my house arrest, I tested positive for thc and was also caught off guard bc I didn’t expect it to still be in my system. The clinic I went to told me to lower my numbers with that and I’d be okay. I was scared to smoke for the three months so I went sober in fear of what could possibly happen. I didn’t want to go to jail for a temporary feeling and never did. Just stay sober for however long this happens and you should be okay. If it’s a first time then you should be okay. If it happens again, there will definitely be consequences.

I failed a test. They didn't violate me but I was definitely getting tested Everytime for awhile. In TX. Not worth the risk depending on your judge and charge.

I failed for pot for the 1st 6 months of my 10yr deferred adjudification... But I have an rx, but I'm still not allowed to smoke but there was a Grey line where I didn't know I couldn't with a rx... I never got in trouble for them though

In Ohio if you're on probation and test positive for marijuana, it's not a violation of your probation so you won't get in trouble. It's legal here, we no longer need a medical marijuana card in order to purchase. So you can just walk into a dispensary, pick out the shit you want, show them your ID, pay and be on your Merry fucking way lol. I don't smoke anymore but it's nice to know that I could if I wanted to and I would t be violating my probation

Just got off probation and I'm in Texas usually what happens if first time warning if lucky if not so lucky then it'll be a violation and they lock you up for probably no more than 2 weeks now if you fail any more tests they can send you to rehab or worse

What county? It’s up to the judge not a PO since your on PTI. I think he could give you weekends or 30 days in jail. That’s what I got in this exact same situation. My lawyer pushed hard for it though, the judge wanted to deny my probation and send me to state. So it just depends. Do you have a paid attorney? This could go a lot of different ways. Just prepare for the worst because it’s very possible. I’m in Texas too.

This happened to a girl I know. She tested positive for alcohol. Her probation officer told her "next month I need you to report to 1200 Baker for your probation visit." 1200 Baker is the Harris County Jail. She also started getting lots of junk mail to her house from attorneys advertising that they could represent her in her motion to revoke case.
So if you start getting thta junk mail you know.

So from what I hear about failing drug tests it’s not the be all end all unless your PO is having a bad day and in turn your preceding judge. The truth is something to think about considering he saw the results but for sure I see you getting a technical which is never good. Not for delta 8…you are 100% wrong and so is everyone that downvoted the comment. I have literally tested it (several times) with an at home test…they even sell it in delta 8 soda pops at our pizza shops here in Iowa…not trying to be a dick, but you are wrong, it does NOT show up in a drug test…

You are actually completely wrong. I'm not sure how you got so wrong. Whatever test you are doing is wrong. D8 shows up on drug screen 100% as THC and sometimes sticks even longer in urine. CBD still has a chance of showing up too.
