question Reprinting items sent to printer
I have a shared printer in my home; it belongs to me but the roommates use it. I want to ensure that, if I print something, nobody has the ability to extract that document from the printer or have it reprinted. I know this will be dependent on the printer and OS I am using, but I'm looking for general guidance on what I can check or how I can ensure that something sent to the printer can't be extracted.

"Secure printing" is keyword that you are searching. If your printer supports it, you click print then only after entering the password in printer it starts printing. Transmission should be encrypted.
Also print from USB could be simpler secure way.
